“I called Nomad to assemble a bike I purchased online for my son. Omar came on time, did a thorough job, and explained everything I needed to know about maintenance. When my son got home and tried to ride the bike, the front tire went flat and Omar came right back away to take a look. It turned out that the tube had a tiny hole (no fault of his) and he replaced it, only charging me for a replacement tube.
By the way, in addition to the convenience of having the work done at my home, Omar charged about half what bike stores charge to assemble the bike. My husband (who usually tries to do his own repairs) now wants me to call Omar back to fix his bike.”

About Me
I'm a DC native who's been working in the bike industry for nearly 20 years. I started my career as an apprentice at a local bicycle co-op when I was a teenager and have nearly two decades' worth of experience as a mechanic. I pride myself on honest, down to earth service at affordable prices.

“Omar is amazing! I’ve been bike commuting and dealing with bike shops in DC for the past 8 years. In that time I have NEVER EVER had service anywhere near as responsive, efficient, and thorough as I did with Omar. I’ve got a million phenomenal things to say about my experience....
Omar picks up and drops off your bike, meaning you save a ton of time. There’s no going out of the way to drop your bike off at a shop and then having to figure out how to get home. There’s no waiting in line and you know that when he picks your bike up for work he’s gonna start work on it right away. You won’t have to wait a week to get your bike back.
Omar really takes his time. He takes his time to answer your questions—no matter how simple or complex. Before he gives it back to you he takes his time to make sure that your bike is really ready to go. Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve dropped my bike off for one repair then had to take it back for another repair that could’ve ben spotted and fixed the first go round if folks had only been paying attention. That won’t happen with Omar.
Also he can pretty much fix anything that could possibly be wrong with your bike and he will explain it to you in terms that you will understand.”
